Lovely property with amazing views! Steps up were a bit of a trek but you need them for the views! So worth it!

Mind the stairs!! You need to be fit and healthy to reach the apartment. - Had to ask hosts to bring us some basic cleaning supplies, which were missing at first.

The View

When I booked the apartment I did not know that there was 130 stairs to the apartment. If I had seen it I would not have booked it. We we arrived our bags where taken up for us. When we arrived at the apartment and saw the stairs we were shocked. Climbing up and down the stairs 4 times a day in exteme 30 degree temperature is not good. The air conditioner was so bad that we could not feel the cool air. The internet was so slow. We asked if we can have help taking 4 suitcases to the main road when we had to check out, they told us the first was free and second time it will costs 80 euro. I declined. When I read the reviews there was no mention of stairs as I booked early in the year. The mention of stairs come out in May and June when I did not read the reviews again. It was far too late to cancel. The view was spectacular but I will not stay there again.

The view! Absolutely breathtaking! A fantastic view of Como, the lake and surrounding mountains. Location was fantastic, easy to walk to city centre, there's a direct path across the road that leads you down to the main street, right next to the Funicular that takes you up to Brunate. The apartment had all required amenities, the washing machine was a god-send after traveling for many weeks. The little touches around the apartment, like art, books and furnishings were lovely. As we were 2 couples staying, having 2 bathrooms was wonderful.

The Stairs. But I would do it again for the view. Also had some issues with wifi, but staff were very very helpful in fixing this.

This property is beautiful, very comfortable and spacious, and the million-dollar views so inviting, I could have sat on the balcony all day long. It had all the comforts of home!

The 137 steps up to the apartment were a bit of a pain while carrying all our luggage because we were traveling for a month, so we had quite a bit to haul. It would have been difficult to find the place, but the email I received was very detailed and contained pictures so that was helpful.
