The views were amazing. There were 140 something steps by the time we got to the apartment but I did not mind them, it made me feel that like I was working out. It was not easy going up the steps with the luggage so travel light :) . There is a pathway across the street by the bus stop that can lead you down, found it by accident but leads you right to the funicular and there are plenty of restaurants down there.

The AC in the kitchen area was not working, did not see to cool the area. We could not open the doors to the balcony for too long because there were too many mosquitoes.

Excellent location. Beautiful view of the lake.

There are 100+ steps to access the property. I had not read this information when I booked the property. Luckily we were a young group and we could manage but any older person would need to cancel the booking which is non refundable.

the location was sensational - worth climbing the stairs with heavy luggage! the apartment had all of the basic things we needed and felt homely which was great!

A lot of places we stayed at controlled the heating centrally to try and stop people overheating accommodations - for us this was a negative as we actually prefer turning heating off at night and we had no ability to do this at this apartment. I understand why they control it - it just made the apartment too hot for sleep for us (though I think we are unusual preferring cooler rooms to sleep)

upon arrival to the apartment on the first day, the heating and hot water were turned off. The room temperature was 16 degrees. Since we arrived very late, we only contact the hosts in the morning. In the morning, we asked to explain why the apartment is so cold. We received an answer that in Italy the heating is turned off at night. However, knowing that there will be guests in the apartment, it was possible to turn on the heating even during the day before our arrival. with this temperature, the apartments do not meet hygiene requirements. We got very cold at night. In the morning we could not take a shower because there was no hot water. The apartment service staff explained that it is necessary to perform actions with the heating boiler. They didn't want to come and fix it themselves. They came and fixed the heating and hot water problems only after we requested them to come and arrange the apartments in such a way that they could be lived in.
