Manorbier House - St Anne's Room

The hotel is what it says on the tin. A little bit eclectic and eccentric

Breakfast was not included but there was a “cafe” in the hotel and it served breakfast but did not open until 10.00am so it’s not much use if you are on the move.

Very accessible and host was amazing

Nothing service was excellent staff excellent and the room was beautiful

The room was clean, bed was comfy

Wasn't really made to feel welcome everyone was very standoffish. we asked for a fan as the room was warm, the owner was kind enough to bring her own personal fan from home but made us feel very uncomfortable as she was looking around the room over my partners shoulder as though we was up to something or hiding something which is very off putting from the get go. The pub over the road was worse one staff member a tall red haired male was really abrupt seemed as though because we wernt "local" there was no effort needed in customer service he clearly didn't want to be there. The place is great if you don't want to do anything or speak to anyone as there is nothing there and no one is friendly. Parking was a nightmare in the evenings so if you weren't back before a certain time you'd be lucky to get a space. I'd also advise you book a table if you want to eat they don't accept walk Ins or if they do they're only for "locals/regulars"
