Foto's op booking.com van een fris interieur met kleurrijke en moderne meubels komen totaal niet overeen met de werkelijkheid: saaie inrichting van het appartement, zonder veel fantasie uitgevoerd. Laat je niet misleiden! Het is functioneel en schoon, maar niets meer dan dat.

Our group of 3 families stayed at .... in May 2025. We thoroughly enjoyed staying there. The location was excellent with good street food, coffee shops, cafes and restaurants all within walking distance. There was also a great chap fan place with a good variety of dishes. The apartment was clean, cosy and tidy. We had the 3 bedroom unit and it had the best view of the sea. The unit was spacious and the lounge area was especially welcoming and comfortable. A couple of areas were disappointing. 1. The stand iron was not working and couldn't be used during our stay. (However the mgt provided an iron and ironing board. If the stand iron was spoiled, they could have just removed it instead of leaving it at the unit) 2. One of the keys to the unit didn't work. (However, it was replaced the next day. But spoilt keys should not be given in the first place) 3. The air con dropped water on our last day. We were already checking out so we told them not to bother repairing while we were there However I must say whatever problems that cropped up were attended to politely, promptly and efficiently by the Management staff. We appreciate the help and support given by the Mgt team

By the main road yet not noisy at all, easy access to many things and places of interest. Drinking water is provided so we saved on buying water bottles.

I really liked the facilities — especially the kitchenette for cooking small meals and the washing machine, which was very helpful since we stayed for 4 days. The location was great too, with easy access to George Town and many other attractions. With a few maintenance updates, this place could offer a much better experience.

While the stay was generally okay, there are a few things that need attention. The bed linen and towels were quite old, and I suspect there might be bed bugs in the double room — I have allergies and felt some discomfort. The bathroom shower causes the entire floor to get wet; a small divider or short door would help manage this. Also, the small service door in the room (used for AC maintenance) should have its bottom edge sealed properly, as insects can enter through it. The TV had some noise issues and the air conditioner was dripping water occasionally, which likely needs servicing. Lastly, the toilet door in the double room doesn’t lock, which can be inconvenient.

PLEASE Do NOT Stay here. The pictures on Booking.com do not reflect what the actual apartment looks like. They have been enhanced and the actual rooms are run down and not to the standard that the pictures represent. We arrived on the 30th June expecting a contemporary luxury apartment. What awaited us was a tired apartment, stains on the sofa, mould in the bathrooms and wax on the dining room floor. Furniture was missing from the rooms compared to the photos on Booking, the beds did not have headboards and were so low to the floor like a futon. The apartment is in an apartment block that seems to rent out all the apartments through different companies. The building common areas are run down and scruffy. If you want a nice comfortable stay in Penang Please do not stay here.
