Gorgeous 2 floor 3 bed Apartment

Lovely furnishings and decor. Comfortable beds. Great location for access to the beach and train station.

The bathroom was small for a family of four with a restricted shower space. Was fine for a short stay though.

Only good thing was location near the train station and walk for the seafront.

It mentioned 2 bathrooms but it was half a bathroom with a ridiculous size shower for 3 6ft men and a compact toilet constantly dripping . Bedding and towels although we’re supposed to be clean were stained and hair in a bed which we reported was to be replaced but never was. Not much seating for four adults to watch Tv. Kitchen chairs really grubby totally disappointed with it saying it’s a gorgeous apartment. Cupboard where key box is disgusting and where the key box , is unreadable without a light.

The decor was lovely, it is a really big space. The beds were really comfortable. With a few tweaks it could be exceptional. Easy to find with clear instructions.

It could do with a deep clean upstairs, especially the sofas and soft furnishings, it smelt of dog, and whilst I appreciate it is a dog friendly property wasn’t the nicest especially as we don’t have dogs. Few items missing from the kitchen making it hard to cook. The cooker was faulty the ignition clicking all the time unless turned off at the plug. Blackout blinds are desperately needed as the current blinds aren’t good. The bathroom is really small, which isn’t an issue, but the shower is tiny and would be a nightmare if you were tall. Overall it’s a nice place and would be perfect with just a few changes.

Location was good handy for the shops and the beach

Booked as there was an outside patio but there was no outside furniture. When queried hosts said it would be replaced soon. 2nd double bedroom had no storage for clothes at all. There was a washing machine but no clothes airer or any where to dry washing. Upstairs "bathroom" was just a toilet. The main bathroom was under the stairs, the shower over the bath was ok for me as I am short but my son in law is 6ft 2in so was very cramped for him. Out of the hosts control but the upstairs neighbours were very noisy

Die Lage der Unterkunft ist gut, zu Fuss sind die Strandpromenade, der Bahnhof und auch Restaurants und Supermärkte gut erreichbar. Der einzige Nachteil ist, dass sich die Unterkunft auf einer Art Hügel befindet und der Weg recht steil ist, vor allem mit Koffern ist dies streng.

Die Unterkunft bietet viel Potenzial und ist schön eingerichtet, jedoch steckt wenig „Liebe“ darin. Wir mussten 60 Pfund extra bezahlen, damit wir bereits um 12.00 Uhr einchecken konnten. Auf dem Informationsblatt war ausserdem eine früher mögliche Eincheckzeit angegeben, als die von der Gastgeberin mitgeteilt. Der Schlüssel ist in einer Schlüsselbox hinterlegt, welche sich in einer Art „Schuppen“ direkt vor der Haustüre befindet. Dieser Schuppen ist ziemlich eklig und es befindet sich einiges an Gerümpel darin. Da alle Gäste diesen Schuppen öfters betreten müssen, wäre es schön, wenn dieser zumindest etwas gesäubert werden würde. Auch die Wohnung an sich war nicht so sauber, wie man es für den Preis erwarten dürfte. Unter den Betten befand sich eine Staubschicht und auch z.B ein Nagel und eine Büroklammer. Am Schlimmsten fand ich den Duschvorhang, der sehr schimmlig war. Diesen mussten wir direkt wegschmeissen und einen neuen kaufen, da die Grösse der Dusche es nicht zuliess, ohne diesen zu duschen. Dies haben wir der Gastgeberin mitgeteilt, die sagte, dass sie davon nichts wusste. Sie bot jedoch nicht an, den neuen Vorhang zu bezahlen. Auch die Heizungen konnten zu Beginn nicht eingeschaltet werden, woraufhin wir die Gastgeberin kontaktierten, da wir selbst nicht herausfanden, wie man diese zum Laufen brachte. Nach einigem Hin und Her konnten sie uns dann endlich sagen, wie die Heizung funktionierte.

Size of the apartment was good, the kitchen was well equipped. Rooms were well presented with neutral decor.

The outside of property area was unappealing and although looked clean on surface inside could have been better (old left over food in kitchen, dirty kitchen window, tissues stuffed down sides of sofa)
