Stay at No 4 York Centre

It was easy to find.

A couple of crisp packets and cleaning cloth left behind but nothing major.

A beautifully presented, spacious house in a convenient location.

The dining room lighting is a bit dim.

The location and comfy beds. Very spacious.

Lights above dining table not very bright. Sofa not very comfortable

It was very cosy with lovely furnishings and decor. The beds were comfy as was the sofa and the rooms were a good size. Great kitchen, well equipped and plenty of crockery and glassware. It was in a fantastic central location and with the parking permit we were able to park outside.

Lovely property,spacious,everything provided, only thing was a strong odour downstairs which we got used to and we didn’t let it spoil our stay ! Cordless vacuum cleaner but no charge in it . Instructions for use of cooker/hob would have been helpful .

The house and location was fabulous. The kitchen was well equipped and it was great to have outdoor space. The location was perfect round the corner from great cafes and bars and a lovely five minute walk into the centre of things.

We loved the property although got caught out with the headspace in the second floor bedroom athough appreciate there were helpful signs. Larger bath towels and basic toiletries would have been ideal - even just shower gel.

Bardzo ładny dom blisko centrum miasta. Pięknie urządzone pokoje z dbałością o szczegóły oraz dostępne urocze patio. Dodatkowym atutem było dostępne miejsce parkingowy na ulicy przed domem.

Beautifully appointed accommodation with lots of character. It really was decorated to a high standard. Every detail was thought of to create a welcoming and wonderful stay. We really enjoyed sitting out in the small courtyard having a drink before going out to dinner. The fairy lights created a lovely ambience too. It was in a really good location to walk around York centre.

Unfortunately the ongoing problem with the drains made the property smell in every room. The toilet which used to get blocked has now been removed (and we were communicated very nicely and thoughtfully about this). However unfortunately we could smell a sewage type smell all the time. It’s such a shame as the property is so beautifully decorated and each room is really lovely. The plug in the bathroom didn’t work properly so the sink couldn’t be filled up with water. Other than that we really did love the accommodation . Just a shame about the smell.
