"I would love to come back and stay longer"

10.0

The location in town and Cotswolds country charm. Got the feel of being in Cotswolds. We rented a car which gave us flexibility to go when we wanted and where we wanted to go home was well equipped with everything.

Loved it but would give a worning for those who have an issue with stairs. They were steep and would be difficult to some people.

"The owner was welcoming but the cleaning could have been a lot better."

6.0

It had character and was in a good location.

We had to spend time cleaning crockery, cutlery and shelves when we arrived. Also had to highlight stained bedding and what looked like an unchanged bed in one room. The owner said he was not aware of this but aimed to replace bedding and discuss cleaning.

"Beautiful cottage, we felt very comfortable here."

9.0

Beautiful cottage, traditional style. Very comfortable beds. well equipped. 3 pubs in walking distance, the Red Lion had excellent food. Bloxham is a nice village with beautiful old houses and little lanes to wander through. We walked to the Pie pub in Milton, a very pleasant walk.

one of the double rooms opened onto the stairs which felt a bit unsafe, so we used the other room

We had a nice welcome from our host after a long drive on the M25. The cottage is lovely and warm thanks to the thatched roof and log burner (central heating too if course). Lots of space, especially considering how old the property is. Comfy leather reclining sofa in the living room. Really recommend the food at the Red Lion Pub. Parking is tricky but manageable. Great location for visiting other places.

It would have been helpful to have had access to some basic cleaning products, sponge etc, after muddy winter walks.

"Charming cottage set in a quiet village"

10.0

Cozy spacious cottage in a quiet location with all the facilities you need and more. Very clean and maintained to a high standard. Wood burner fully stocked. Comfy beds and great shower and bathroom. Always found a parking space. Supermarkets 10 min drive and Cotswolds in range. Even had a box of toys and books for kids which was really appreciated. Many thanks

Oil for cooking but that's being picky. Loved this cottage
