Nice fire place

Owner blames people for things broken in the house even if the things were broken before we arrived. Other than that it's a lovely place to stay. Take photos of everything.

As it says & shows in the pictures, this is a beautiful, comfy, and cosy cottage. we enjoyed a lovely weekend in front of the fire, as sadly the weather was too bad to get out and explore what looks like a very pretty village. A great host, and facilities were very good and met our needs perfectly.

Delightful cottage, bit dark, but only to be expected of a cottage of that age. It was warm and nicely done up.

There was only one bathroom for a 6 bed cottage, either the only toilet in the bathroom.

Great little cottage - bit of a Tardis! Found free parking for x2 cars on street ~ 30 yards along where narrow street widens. Very well equipped kitchen, nice homely touches, lovely bathroom, 3 decent-sized bedrooms, enclosed rear garden where we enjoyed G&T's on the patio. Pictures very true. Quiet location. Short walk to shops and 2 good pubs for food and drinks. Short flight of steepish steps to bedrooms but 83 year old with some mobility issues, managed them.

Great difficulty booking. Owner accepted my request to book, offering me an agreeable price but the link to complete the booking didn't work. Customer service was completely unable to help. By luck, I got back through to the owner and did manage to secure the booking, but price had increased by £50. Had requested addition of one small dog, PRIOR to the booking being accepted. Was then asked for additional £10/night cash-on-arrival for said dog. (For information: it is £20 cash to say for an extra hour on departure date.)
