The cottage was very well equipped in a lovely location. It was clean and the beds were comfy. Lovely garden to enjoy a glass of wine in the evening. We had a great stay. Would recommend!

"Superb"

9.0

Beautiful cottage with plenty of space in the large lounge and dining/kitchen. Lovely garden with lawn and patio seating area with a BBQ for use. The kitchen was well equipped with a large cooker and fridge. The coffee machine with coffee pods was a nice addition. The bedrooms were all a good size with comfy beds. The bathroom was a good size with a great shower and a large bath. The toilet pedestal was quite high and a step was provided for children to use. The mirror above the bathroom sink was also high up for people like me under 5'5. Parking was easy down the street near to the cottage. The host was very welcoming and informative with good communication through the booking process and stay. It was a lovely place to stay and would definitely stay there again.

Stairs were typical for a cottage although a little steep for me and close to the bedroom door on the landing which meant stepping carefully coming in and out of that bedroom.

"We had a fabulous time in this pretty village."

6.0

Location is fabulous. Bloxham is a very pretty village with two great pubs. Lovely garden centre 20 mintues walk away with a cafe too. Cottage is very pretty. Nice Garden.

Furniture could do with updating: peeling seats on dining chairs. Living room furniture also very dated but comfortable. There were only two garden chairs which was a shame as it was such a lovely weekend.

"Gorgeous & perfect Cotswolds cottage"

10.0

A delightful 16th Century low ceilinged cottage, packed with charm and comfort. Gorgeous property with nice back garden space. Stunning flagstone ground floor with equally impressive wooden floor in the bathroom and sumptuous new carpets in the 3 bedrooms. Fabulous wood burning stove, useful kitchen including slimline dishwasher, great WiFi with very spacious and comfortable bedrooms. The bathroom was terrific with a lovely shower. Our host David was wonderful. He was there to greet us which was lovely with a warm welcome and mini tour of the property. Nice to chat too! Really enjoyed our short stay and was in a perfect location for our visit to the local area, which included Chipping Norton and Chadlington with the famous Jeremy Clarkson’s Diddly Squat Farm. Lovely lunch enjoyed at the terrific Joiner’s which was a short and very pretty walk. Two other good pubs on the doorstep too but we didn’t have time to visit. Such a beautiful location and was a lovely and very comfortable stay. Cottage was immaculate, lots of cupboard and wardrobe space, dining table, breakfast bar, Tassimo machine, large fridge/freezer and comfortable large sofa plus smaller two-seater sofa and single chair with throws. The garden was pretty with a growing trained fig tree, BBQ facilities, patio table and chairs, all with a church view. So very peaceful and tranquil area. The cottage is on a narrow 6ft wide road which is expected for the area and it widens in the middle of Unicorn Street. Miraculously, we had a decent parking space available too, which was great. Highly recommend and would definitely return.

"A real home from home stay in an idealic location and idealic property. We loved our time here"

10.0

We as a family loved the property, a real home from home and it’s location ideal as family live in Bloxham. It was a clean, well kept property.

Nothing not to like .. although the seal on the oven could do with looking at as heat escapes and food takes longer to cook
