Location , had a fridge , helpfull staff , 2 bottles of water in fridge . Shower gel, wifi worked , didn't chase is out in morning.

Hard to find property no sinage Miss matched old bedding 1 tiny very old towel that was hard . No hand towel in bathroom Vert flat old pillows and quilt Only tiny mirror in bathroom Hairs in bathroom Had to have freezing cold shower wasn't working Tv didn't work, no remote control Wallpaper hanging off wall Radiator didn't work Desk extremely wobbly Iron board had no cover just metal frame Kitchen was dirty with pots of green food on cooker Very noisy at night, Steward left keys for rooms lying in laundry anyone could take them Entry for property have to manually pull doors and shut and lock yourself , other party goers left door unlocked for friends and walked into building and tried our door to our room looking for there friends. Extremely overpriced for facilities provided.

Uncomfortable bed , washroom and the whole process of locking the doors relying on other guests to keep you safe

Good location. Easy check-in and check-in. Good Wi-Fi. A fridge, a kettle. Room a bit tired, heating was too high on arrival. No hot water in shower so I had a freezing cold one and suppose I was grateful for the toasty room! Doesn't feel like value for money but I don't know room rates in Newcastle to give a real comparison.

I stayed here for a match at St James Park, and the location was perfect! A short walk from the train station and about a 3 minute walk from St James Park, and as a lone female walking back at night, this was perfect and felt safe. Moreover it was the only premises I could find that didn't up their prices sky high because there was a football match on. The manager was communicative and ensured someone was available to let me in and give me my key despite my only being able to give an approximate arrival time. Sure, the room has a few bits that could be updated. A few reviews moan about a broken plug socket, but there's also an aircharger, which combats the one unusable socket. Heating was put on for me before arrival, so the room was nice and toasty, which was much appreciated after the aircon on a long train journey. It was Friday night in China town, so sure, there was some hussle and bustle in the streets outside but no more than you'd expect for a city centre, and it was quite nice to listen to, it's nice to hear other humans when you're staying alone in an unknown city. Room was clean (and I'm normally quite picky). The bed was super comfy, wet room was a nice bonus. Tea and coffee in the room was a nice touch. If I ever need to come to Newcastle again, I will definitely be back.

I had some pretty rowdy guests across the hall from me, but who else stays at the same time as you is luck of the draw.
