Apartment Chinatown 305

Great location and all staff I dealt with were wonderful

The previous room occupant hadn't checked out until 13:30 and I was arriving at 15:00. Staff hadn't enough time to really get room ready. Bathroom floor was flooded after cleaning and I had to use the towel to mop it up. I have mobility problems so was worried about slipping, but then couldn't use the towel! There were 5 plug sockets in the room and not one was working! I was on my own as my partner was unable to accompany me and had no means of charging my phone or using my CPAP machine. I didn't ring the landlord as it was after midnight, but had to use the last of my phone battery to ring around hotels to find alternative accommodation. I couldn't access the keypad to leave the keys. The next morning, Ken the manager was extremely concerned and apologetic that I hadn't been able to use the room and instantly offered to refund my money. He also came to my accommodation to collect the keys. I think I was just very unlucky after reading the other reviews but sadly feel that I wouldn't try to stay there again which is a shame as the room is lovely and clean and all Ken's staff are wonderful

Central in the city

Pretty basic for the price. A TV would have been nice.

Compact but had everything. No tv but we didn’t need one anyway.

Nothing not to like. We were told there was a shared kitchen but weren’t shown it, in fairness we didn’t need it and didn’t ask either.

I stayed in room 307 even though it says 305. It is a good tidy bedroom and everything is clean. The bed is comfortable and pillows are very good and comfy. The shower works really well and plenty of wash products. The bathroom facilities are quality standard. The Internet in room 305 is excellent. I could not open the window though so I kept the fan on. The temperature was August night temperature but a typical summer night not a really hot one. The fan was sufficient to keep me cool. Good tea, coffee and hot chocolate are provided. I didn't use the washing/drying or kitchen.
