Onong's Homestay & Cafe

Oho was full of information and was not pushy for his own tours. We hired a bike from him for a day and he was very accomodation with the time we could have this, nothing seemed to be a problem. The surrounds of the bungalows are very appealing and offer much privacy. The balcony outside room was comfortable and provided a sitting area. There is also a retreat level underneath which we did not use.

The hot water was a little tricky to regulate, otherwise all was good.

Nice genuine Sulawesi Homestay, nice neighborhood. Quite retro as the owner collects Volkswagen vehicles.

It's an attractive and unique homestay set in jungle and across different levels. The breakfast was nice. The Alfamart out the front is quite useful.

The female staff were not particularly friendly. The standard rooms have only cold water showers (and it wasn't very hot here so pretty chilling shower!) The location is out of town so felt a bit isolated. Bit noisy. Tried to check out early morning to find myself locked in and the staff wouldn't get up to help me despite my knocking on her door. (Maybe my fault for lack of communication)

Cute comfortable and private huts with attached patio in the garden. Perfect for shelter from sun or watching the rain. The restaurant provides fast friendly service, good Indonesian dishes. Onong is a knowledgeable local guide and obviously enjoys sharing all Tomohon and Indonesian culture has to offer. Wonderful stay!!

Nice guesthouse nicely decorated. The concrete rooms are basic with cold water but clean. Good for a couple of nights and low budget. The owner Onong is fantastic, super nice and has a fantastic day to see all what u need to see around tomohon. Creater, lake, hot bath etc with his vintage van. A must to do for families or alone!

Very cool place. Huts are cozy and clean and very stylish. Wide selection of breakfast and food in the restaurant is delicious. Onong and his family are amazing. Highly recomended.

The bungalows are beautiful, right over the river and nice vintage decor and intetesting artifacts throughout. Onong has done so much with the plants, flowers, and fruit trees to add to the experience.

From the pictures it seems like it is in a quiet area but it is on a main street with neighbors closeby. I don't recommend anyone go during a local holiday because the neighbors celebrate with very loud music and fireworks all night

Nice atmosphere. Breakfast choice. Onong helped us plan a route for the scooter. Scooter rental available.

Onong was helpful but the rest of the staff appeared a bit grumpy. The matrass on the bed is horrible.
