Amazing Onong the host! Super helpful and friendly and arranged loads to see and do during our three day stay. Food was also great… Rooms comfy and simple…

Garden view rooms have squat toilets down stairs which is a bit difficult. But standard rooms are better in this respect.

Simple bungalows in a cozy garden. The big draw here is the friendly owner Onong who can arrange tours and activities. Food is excellent - they prepared grilled tuna for us bought at the local market. Would stay here again.

The bath rooms are basic. No running water in sink - only from the shower.

The WiFi doesn’t reach some of the rooms, and fe bathroom is ‘open-air’ with no door or anything so not private from the room

Nice place and garden, good food and good place to use as base to make day trips. Food was very good The family was nice and helpful with advice how to travel further You can rent scooters from them which we did to make different day trips. They can fix cars for long distances for a nice price They have cabins, see picture or rooms in the main house

We stayed in room 7 the mattress was making noises if you turned because of the springs. But I sleep good on it

Room was smelling like a toilet. And no amount of fan running could get rid of it. The toilet was in fact just next to the bed with no door separating it. Could not sleep and left the next day, asking for a partial refund. But own did not care. I lost a 7 day booking. Just too bad.

It Was a bit damp and lots of mosquitos

Beautiful ambience

- No private bathroom in the bungalow (the bathroom was behind the bungalow and some random people kept using it all the time) - No sink in the bathroom for washing hands, so needed to use the shower - No western-style toilet - Extremely loud in the bungalow in the middle of Monday night even when using ear plugs while sleeping (traffic, some annoying speaking to a loud-speaker somewhere nearby, mosque nearby, very loud water flowing right under the bungalow) - No lock in the bungalow door. The place has potential but there are these major issues that should be improved.

The owner of the homestay is a gardener at heart, which becomes immediately clear once you pass through the tunnel from the main road and find a huge, terraced garden with a river and bridge and lots of colorful flowers, trees and bushes. The bungalows in this garden are comfortably furnished with lots of wood, carvings and wickerwork and all have an inviting veranda. The restaurant is not yet fully green, but serves outstanding food, healthy, unusual and plentiful, even for vegetarians.

A sink in the bathroom would have been practical.
