Interior Designed 4 bed House with stocked Bar & gym sleeps minimum 7

The house was ok for our needs, plenty of room. Communication was fine, has ample amenities, welcome bar and basket a nice touch.

On first arrival, it looked nice and well decorated, but once you are in, you start noticing things. Dust, lots of cobwebs, dirty/dusty buttons on the sofa. Mould and limescale around bath/shower. Dirty tissues left in drawers. Inside over door badly needs a clean. The stairs are very steep which I had read in previous reviews, but the stairs down to the basement level where the treadmill etc is, is blocked by boxes, cushions, hoover and iron board, very little room to navigate down the stairs and a total trip hazard. Peeling paint, burst lampshade, poor furnishings. Would not take a lot to sort a lot of these things but would definitely recommend a different more conscientious cleaner as it seems to be a surface clean, and that's it. No proper dusting, windowsills, door frames, etc, dust and fluff, which is clearly from other people's hair, skin, and general dirt left lying is just wrong. One of our party has actually come home with numerous bites on their legs and side. Although the bed sheets were clean enough looking, i didn't remove them to look under to see mattresses, but I wish I did now after my friend is covered in bites. Shame i can only share four photos.

It's well-located, near the best shops and restaurants in Horsforth, and it's also a cosy house. I really liked the Smart TV in the living room and the modern decoration, mainly in the kitchen. The outside area on the back of the property is also adorable.

The water pressure in the shower wasn't ideal, and the rooms on the top floor took a long time to warm up. One of the rooms has a window that is not closing completely, allowing cold air to enter. Additionally, the television in the main bedroom was not functioning. The pain au chocolat left in the kitchen as a "breakfast" had already expired. I also found the communication with the host slower than I would have preferred.

Great location and very big house

Lots of dust and cobwebs and not all surfaces cleaned prior to arrival. For a house with 4 bedrooms to only have 3 mugs/cups for tea/coffee is ridiculous. TV in corner of room not ideal and shower pressure was very poor for a house that only has one bathroom.

Drinks & snacks provided, big rooms with comfy beds.

Shower pressure very weak, only 1 bathroom available which could be a pain for larger families. Stains on one of the duvets.

Great location - exactly what we needed to visit relatives. Plenty of room for us to spread out as a family and well equipped kitchen. Easy parking available, and good responses from owner.

With this type of property, stairs to the attic rooms were going to be steep, and I think I underestimated it, that' on me. Only one bathroom on the middle floor, would have been great it there had been an extra loo.

Beautifully decorated and furnished. Pleased that we could take the (non-shedding) dogs with us. Sunday lunch at the local Toby Carvery was great, but oh boy, was it busy!

Garden is just a terrace. Not really suitable for letting the dogs out alone. The local park is lovely and very close by.
