Guest House & Homestay "Feel at Home" Near A Famosa Fortress & Stadhuys

Location is easy to the main attractions of Melaka, and the place is clean. Drinking water is provided. Clothes iron and washing machine were sighted and I guess that's part of the facilities for guests. Early self check-in is apparently possible as I was given the access codes before the published check-in time.

When the lights switches are off, the room is in total darkness. Suggest a small night light, and more rails if not hooks in the room to hang damp bath towels and clothes, and a bum gun for the bathroom, and floor water scrapper to sweep away the water on the floor.

The guest house was very clean, from the room to the private external bathroom. In fact, the entire premises was very neat and inviting. We were in a family room upstairs with 2 double beds. It was simply furnished but good enough for a night's stay. There's a pantry downstairs with a water dispenser (which was not stated, so we brought our own water). Parking was conveniently located though it was tricky to manoeuvre into the parking lot! I was attracted by the pretty facade.

The main problem was the poor water pressure which made showering a slow and unsatisfactory affair. I also felt there was no ventilation in the bathroom. Moreover, the sink was located in the bathroom itself so it's a little inconvenient even to wash hands etc. I would suggest maybe placing a sink or two in the landing area upstairs for greater convenience. (I didn't notice if there was a unlocked common toilet within the premises. That would be appreciated by guests of the family room who otherwise would have to queue to use the toilet in the bathroom, you know what I mean?)
