Large Cottage, Beach, Pubs Shops, Netflix, BBQ, Dog Friendly

Brilliant host and the cottage was comfy, cosy and couldn't ask for more. Didn't want to go home.

Spacious, clean, comfortable

Very nicely laid out, had everything you could need, very comfortable, all the rooms very lovely, location was great.

Nice kitchen and sofa area was clean and very cosy. The beds were comfortable and house was very warm had to turn the heating down actually so was not cold at all. The village was nice and practical being close to shops and pubs cute little bakery who were very friendly. Host was attentive and checked if all was ok which was nice.

Location was super difficult with young kids for parking and unloading etc and had to park down the village so just wasn't practical. Think it's quite misleading on the listing as it says parking. But I feel like this should state it's down the village. The entrance via the archway seems a bit grotty. Also not very practical for a dog really either as needed a small patch of grass to toilet. Nearest was up the street as front garden not part of the house. A few Xmas decorations were still up in Feb so not sure about the cleaning attention to detail but it was overall pretty clean. Thought we would be left a small amount of logs as per other reviews but weren't left any. Staircase also quite steep so that's something to be aware of with small children or less able people.

The little cottage was clean, warm, and in a great location 👌 co-op next door , boots , and local Chinese. Amanda was amazing as a host, and nothing was too big for her. She gave clear instructions on how to found the cottage. On the Saturday night of our stay are event run over so she also agreed to a later check out for us 😀

Good kitchen / diner, modern but cosy and well equipped. Cottage is surprisingly spacious, nicely furnished and very central. Heating system excellent, warm already when we arrived and stayed cosy throughout. Thoughtful provision of blankets and throws, board games and various books add a homely touch….. feels like a well loved home, not just a generic rental property. Bed really comfortable. Love that cottage is dog friendly too. Altogether a homely, cosy, restful place with fantastic owner care.

Sadly some disturbance by very rowdy neighbours but didn’t last too long (although we didn’t know it would stop and 2-3 hours was long enough as they were very very loud, would have ruined our stay had it not stopped!) We did however have very impressive response from owner Amanda immediately on raising concern, could not have been more professional or helpful so I suspect this would not happen again. We would absolutely stay again, because we found the immediate and thoughtful response from the owner very reassuring. Indeed communication from Amanda was outstanding throughout, even though we only stayed one night. This kind of attention to detail is rare, but made me want to go back to this lovely spot.

It was just beautiful, so clean and tidy down to the small little things, everything was perfect, the bedroom was lovely. Bathroom was wonderful. Woulld deffinately stop there again for longer, and the humminby was so lovely, and everyone was so friendly.

There was nothing I didn't like.
