Solihull House - Free Parking, NEC, Airport

It is a lovely flat. Clean and comfortable.

We were here for an exhibition event at the NEC and it was really relatively easy to get to the NEC in about 15 minutes by taxi, the rooms were relatively clean and most importantly quiet and we were able to have a good night's sleep, which was important to us as we were travelling with a 7 hour time difference.

To talk about the cons, firstly, the mattress is a bit too soft, I have a friend who doesn't have a very good spine and ended up choosing to sleep on the couch. Secondly, it was too far away from convenience stores where you could buy things, the closest you could find nearby was only about a kilometre away. Lastly, there were people living downstairs and sometimes we were a little worried about disturbing them when we came back later.

It was very well located, well equipped and spacious for what we needed. Nicely decorated and make us feel right at home straight away. Comfortable and easy to settle into. Bathroom was so airy it was great.

Nothing at all other than the main bed was a little too soft mattress wise for my back but that is personal preference.

Very comfortable flat, great location in a quiet and convenient area.

It would have been helpful to have clear written instructions on the heating system usage and how to get the TV to work. We managed but if it had been a longer stay we would have had to ring for help. Oven had been used prior to our arrival, but not cleaned - this needs checking before new arrivals- everything else was spotless.

The property was very clean and organised it was well looked after and was located in a very nice peaceful area

Easy access for the NEC, set in a quiet residential area with decent on street parking. The sound proofing however in the maisonette isn't very good, we could hear general conversations through the walls and the neighbours downstairs were very loud until very late /into the early hours. I don't know if the downstairs were visitors or live there permanently. It was fairly clean but certainly not 100%, no tea towels in the kitchen, the kitchen floor needed a good scrub, and the double bed base is sagging. Slow Internet and cannot get live TV. Staff were responsive to messages and sorted problems out quickly

I loved how comfy the place felt, so clean and pretty - the interior is just beautiful and the area where this is located is away from busy roads and no hassle of any noise from around and plenty of parking available! nova retreats were so helpful throughout! Quick responses and so helpful with all information I felt very prepared knowing exactly what to do for check in, parking, etc. Everything was smooth and made it that much easier for me! Thank you so much!
