Beautiful lodge. Big open rooms. Lots of wardrobe space Comfy beds. Plenty of bedding and blankets. Nice welcome hamper

Couldn't work out how to turn off hot tub. No instructions. Wooden steps very slippy in icy weather.

We loved how spacious this lodge was. It was sparkling clean and very well equipped. Decor was modern and bright and we had a lovely night in. Nice treats provided and when we had a slight problem with the hot tub the owners couldn't do enough for us. We had brought food with us but we found out just before we arrived that there was a good Thai restaurant just in front of the lodge. There is also a bus stop very close with buses that go into York regularly, according to the Guest book. We were only there for one night but could happily have stayed there for much longer.

Minor, but when in the hot tub there was nowhere to put your towels. It was raining and although there is a cover over the tub the towels got soaked.
