"Relaxing, peaceful and plenty of places to visit and eat in the area."

Self catering but they left a beautiful welcome basket and a bottle of prosecco. It is in a lovely quiet are only a short car ride to York or if you prefer a park and ride is nearby.

There was nothing to dislike we loved it.

"Such a gorgeous lodge, we enjoyed every minute."

Absolutely gorgeous lodge, we were so surprised at how spacious yet homely it was. The staff kept in contact making sure all was going well, they seemed lovely. They also spent time decorating the lodge for a birthday and they did not let down. About a 20 minute drive into the city centre. Amazing stay, would 100% recommend.
