Very noisy. Rooms echoed, lots of banging and tapping and knocking & someone had a dog that barked a lot

Remarque 1: J’ai plus eu le sentiment d’être dans une auberge de jeunesse mais pour les influenceurs. L’espace de petit déjeuner est toujours reservé à un groupe de personnes qui font des podcasts (ou conferences en ligne). On n’a pas pu profiter un jour sans cette nuisance d’avoir un podcast live pendant la matinée. Le personnel nous a proposé de prendre le petit dejeuner dans la chambre (chose que je n’ai pas forcément envie de faire). Le 1er jour ce groupe avait reservé presque tout l’espace. Remarque 2: le petit déjeuner est limité à un plat et une boisson. Si on doit remplacer le lait animal par un lait végétal c’était un supplément (du coup on a payé tous les jours un supplément pour avoir un lait vegetal parce qu’on est intolérants au lactose). Aussi si on souhaite rajouter un ingrédient en plus (type tomate) on paye un supplément. Remarque 3: l’emplacement est bien pour cette partie de Canggu, mais si on doit aller vers l’autre coté vers La brisa par exemple c’est 50 minutes à pied ou 50 minutes en voiture.

Excellent location. Very clean. Accommodating and friendly staff. Good facilities.

The breakfast options were a bit limited. No Indonesian cuisines were available. We also paid for breakfast to be included but then we were charged extra for butter on our toast which seems unusual. The staff in the restaurant also wernt very attentive. We often had to ask for service even with no other customers in the restaurant. The pool and sauna were undergoing maintenance so were unusable for the first two days. The pool works were completed quickly within two days though.

The breakfasts were really good — varied and tasty, a great way to start the day. There is also a nice pool and a small gym on-site, which is convenient if you want to stay active without going far. The location is excellent, situated on one of the main streets, with plenty of cafés, shops, and everything you might need within walking distance. Housekeeping is done daily, which keeps the space clean and comfortable. It was also nice to see many Russian-speaking guests — for some, this can be a big plus.

Pricy for Canguu. The main issue was a noticeable sewage smell, especially when using the bidet shower — this really affected the overall experience. The towels are quite old and should be replaced. Safety could also be improved, as it seems like almost anyone can enter the apartment area, which doesn’t feel very secure.
