Very long sigle lane dirt road of 35 km last 5 km in a very poor condition!!! There were no any information about this!

The location of the accommodation is really exceptional and met our expectations. Breakfast was good.

We were not allowed to consume our own food or drinks in the courtyard, despite the fact we were not accepted to eat in the restaurant as we had not booked a day in advance. No table and chairs in the room so we ended up eating in our beds. Well, the mosquitoes made it unbearable in the courtyard after a few minutes anyway. Disappointing experience especially after we had previously read reviews on Booking.com that Lochhournhead had been the greatest experience for other travellers. Such a judgement can surely only refer to the location and the 30km one-way road. Given the rate we paid and in comparison to all other hotels/guesthouses during our Scotland trip this place was the only one we would not revisit again.

Beautiful surroundings, comfortable room. Very nice staff. The road there was an adventure but worth the time and the effort. Very good breakfast.

This was one of the best places we stayed on our road trip around Scotland. The drive in alone is worth the trip. But the room we had was lovely, very comfy beds. The guys running the place were very helpful and friendly, and cooked us some good grub too. Insanely beautiful surrounding valley with great walks. Definitely stay here if you can! But it is very isolated (not a negative!) so recommend booking the lovely home cooked supper if you need feeding.
