Lochhournhead B&B & Tea Room

Location is remote but beautiful. An adventurous drive in. Breakfast is excellent.

As they say, "it's the journey, not the destination". The drive through the unspoiled highlands was beyond beautiful. A litle like a roller coaster ride at times, but definitely worth it. The deer and Highland Hairy cows were well versed in how to pose for the best pics! Room and bath were spacious and renovation was very well done. Shared lounge area was very comfortable and full of games and books. Nice little kitchen area, but no cooking untensils or pots/pans.

Had to rush out in the am as there was road maintenance planned and the road would be closed for several hours. No reflection on the B&B.

The staff were exceptional in their energy, commitment and responsiveness. Daisy and James were friendly, professional helpful and made every effort to satisfy any request. Despite the challenges of the remote location they provided very good basic meals and tea or coffee whenever requested. The location is wonderful for those seeking wilderness, peace and tranquillity in the most beautiful setting amidst the wild Knoydart landscape. The rooms are great with excellent comfort and en-suites as well as a drying room.

Beautiful location way off the beaten track! Old farm stead with updated rooms, off the grid but with all the amenities. Breakfast was fantastic with best sausages I have ever had. Long drive out to place but worth it!
