Le Sutra Hotel, Khar, Mumbai

I really enjoyed staying at Le Sutra. I don’t like big hotels so Le Sutra was perfect. Room was great and the location in Bandra is excellent. Everyone at the hotel went out of their way to ensure my stay was a good one. I enjoyed the breakfast. Hammad and Preeti were great.

Firstly, the bed was amazing! Their rooms are all different with a story, plus they give you a gift at check-out! I didn't expect it at all. The staff was very helpful and friendly as well.

It was a little loud in the evening.

Le Sutra is a truly distinctive hotel—clean, artistic, and deeply rooted in Indian philosophy. The decor is based on the themes of Tamsic, Rajsic, and Sattvik Sutras, and every detail in the room reflects this beautifully. We stayed in the Ashoka room, which was spacious and even had a sword as part of the décor! The amenities were top-notch—worthy of a 5-star stay. The AC worked perfectly, the bathroom was spotless, and OTT platforms actually functioned (a rarity!). We appreciated the generous in-room selection of snacks and drinks. The staff were very courteous and accommodating, even accepting a few special requests with warmth.

I felt the price was slightly on the expensive side.. The location is excellent—just minutes from the sea—but do note that the nearby fish market may affect morning walks with its strong smell.

Staff at the hotel a were excellent. Hotel is quirky and artsy and has some very nice food and snacks. Location is ideal for sightseeing and leisure activities. There are many bars and restaurants in the area.

Rooms are new. Nice location in Bandra W.

OK I get it that it's a boutique hotel, but there is not a single place in the hotel to sit other than the room. Room was without a window - only a white screen. When I told them I don't wish to stay the second night, because I didn't expect a windowless room, they said all hotels in Mumbai have no windows... Well let me tell you, my next hotel room had a window which you could see through. They agreed to reimburse me for a small portion of the amount.
