Il Mare di Giò

I loved the seaview from the window and from the balcony! This was not just a room but an entire apartment. It was very basic but it had everything you need. Some complain about the bed - it was not very soft but was very comfy, there was no problem with it. Others complain about the noise from the street - i had no problem with it, it was like any other place not far from a road. The kitchen has no electric devices, but there is a gas stove, which is fine. It was a bit cold first (February) but after a time the temperature went up to comfortable. The host lady met me at the door at the appointed time. She spoke only Italian but it was absolutely no problem. All in all everything was excellent!

Nicely furnished, clean apartment. Nice beach view. There is a shopping center nearby, a cafe, restaurant, pizzeria in the house. Old town, train station 15 minutes walk.

A microwave was a bit missing and one roll of toilet paper was not enough for two people for 5 days, but we still had a good time

Lovely clean apartment which was well equipped with everything we needed for a weeks stay. Nice little cove for sun bathing and swim one minute walk away - walk along sea front towards monopoli. Coves in other direction were not suitable. Near local shops with lovely food - bread shop, lo squala fish shop, cheese and meat deli and roast chicken shop particularly good. We were able to enjoy this food al fresco sitting on the balcony. It is a 20 minute walk to old town of monopoli which is very charming especially at night. 8 minute walk to trian station for easy day trips to bari, polignano a mare and ostuni if u don't have a car.

Table on balcony is very small. A bigger table and more comfortable chairs would be nice.

All very clean. As expected!

The main bad was not super comfortable.

Very spacious and private and clean. It felt very secure. Only 10 walk from the old town. Good coffee bar downstairs.

Good location, train station and bus stop are nearby, as well as the beach, bakery, supermarket, etc.

There could be more more furniture like comoda to place small belongings in the living room.
