This was a brilliant location in the old part of Kyoto, perfect for exploring everything that the Higashiyama area has to offer. The host was absolutely delightful and so helpful and we would recommend staying here without question.

Bit of a trek with suitcases, but nothing that a taxi ride can't sort out. Beware of the taxi journey to Kyoto Shinkansen from here though, as you spend half your fare on the final 100m waiting to turn right! If we had our time again...we would plan to get off somewhere close by, rather than at the actual station!

The apartment is located in a very good area, close to many tourist attractions, but still quiet. The room we received would have been comfortable, but we were disappointed with the equipment. The description showed a fully equipped kitchen, but we only had a refrigerator, a kettle and a stove, which we could not use because there was no dishes, plates or cutlery. So they were useless. Otherwise, the room is well equipped with quality sanitary facilities and a very comfortable bed. Yukata San was kind to us, but the disappointment of not receiving a room according to the description remains. I have read other reviews that were very positive and in which tourists benefited from all the facilities. So it may have been an accident in our case.
