Rua 39 fine apartments by Dimore in Sicily

The size and comfort was wonderful and we were very happy to have a ground floor apartment for a change. The laundry facility was very welcomed. Location great within walking distance to everything.

Das Deluxe Appartement besticht durch seine zentrale und ruhige Lage. Auch ist es sehr schön und schlicht gestaltet. Waschmaschine und Trockner sind ein eindeutiges Plus.

Leider hat das Wifi nur sehr schwach bis kaum funktioniert. Der Host konnte sich erst nach dem Wochenende mit einem Techniker in Verbindung setzen, wodurch wir bis zur Abreise (Dienstag) kein richtiges Internet hatten. Die Dusche ist durch ein fehlendes Teil undicht was zu regelmäßigen „Überschwemmungen“ im Badezimmer führt. Wir haben dafür mehr Handtücher bekommen.

The location was perfect for what I needed. It's close to all the historic sites around Ortigia Island, and the Giudecca neighborhood is so cute with its tiny alleys and narrow streets. It was easy to access the apartment, which had a locked main door (keypad or key) to enter the building and a separate key for my apartment. Very secure (not that i have any concerns about Ortigia!) The bed was comfy, the kitchen had what I needed including a Nespresso machine. And I used the washing machine for a quick load - so convenient! There was a dryer, but I hung my clothes on the rack in my little courtyard. The AC and WiFi worked great - all in all a wonderful stay. I hope to return! The host, Fabio, was thorough, courteous, helpful and always responsive.

While everything was wonderful and these were not a problem, you will hear neighbors upstairs and out the windows. And there is an odor that we dubbed "potato cellar" that is omnipresent. ; )
