Motel 6 Peoria, IL

Location was good. Basic, safe, modest accommodations. Bed was comfortable.

Only 2 electrical outlets in room, making charging phones, etc. difficult.

Best place i love it here

Coffee machine broken

Affordable for short notice.

First room on first floor had broken window lock and no latch as well as leaking AD unit. Moved to second floor, room had stains on the floor. AD unit had oily smell when it was operating and was pulling outside area from highway traffic, smelled up room badly had to sleep in heat with no AC as it would pollute room air. TV flickered off and on while watching any programs did not use it. Security door had missing security door latch. Smoke detector kept beeping every 30 seconds, that the front desk guy removed the fire deteoctor since it would not stop beeping. Linen had yellowish tint. Towels were rough.

The beds were pleasantly comfortable. The floors appeared clean.

There were so many mystery stains on the walls I was hesitant to touch them. The front of the sink slid down on one side while the glue was drying and is precociously hanging. While the floors seemed new, it wasn’t installed properly so there were gaps that could be tripped on. The mattress covers were disgusting.

dirty mattress,covers, mattress covers, carpets and surfaces! in room less than 5 minutes and neither the property or booking has done anything to refund the cost of a room that no one should sleep in! staff at hotel rude!!! do NOT book this hotel unless you like sleeping in filth! booking did over $11 credit, certainly does not cover the room cost!
