could use just a couple of the extension sockets being larger so your not switching plugs to use different appliances and some instructions on how to use the central heating would be useful.

Having the whole house to ourselves. Having all equipment/facilities we'd need (e.g. kettle). The ease of collecting the key when we arrived at the front door/key box. Ease of contact with the owners. We were very very comfortable.

The thermostat was a bit complicated at first, and there was a bitter draft from the back door through the kitchen, but once we'd figured it out and kept the kitchen door closed we were nice and warm. The shower was a bit tricky at first to get the right water temperature.

Lovely comfortable beds. Great kitchen. Lovely back yard. Nice quiet area.

Directions to get into the property were incorrect and misleading. A text arrived advising to go in the back yard and the keypad would be at the back door. Two streets opposite had the same names and we ended up going into someone else’s back yard and they were not happy at all. Seems it must happen regularly as they knew where the Airbnb was and directed us to it. The keypad was at the front door on the main road . We arrived early hours of the morning so would be better if the instructions were correct so neighbours are not bothered and people can find where they are staying with ease.

The bathroom was disgusting. The hot & cold taps was switched around. To use hot water, I had to turn on the cold tap. There’s a leak in the bathroom from the sick. There dam on the walls in the bedroom. There was a dry or orange peel under the bed. The sofa was uncomfortable and there’s damage to the sofa. The material was hanging off. Damaged Wardrobe in all rooms and the door for the bedroom is damage. Was very difficult to close. The pictures online sold me a dream property.

The whole place feels run down and needs modernising and some TLC. The pictures being used to advertise aren't current. Cleaning wasn't as adequate as expected even though the beds were clean. Don't think the carpets were hoovered, deep cleans don't happen often as found a drink bottle under the bed, false eyelashes on the sofa, living room floor was sticky, and whole house generally could be cleaned better. The wardrobe in one of the rooms is falling apart, the hot water is not hot and seems you can't even change the settings on the boiler (broken?). Shower taps are wrong, cold is luke warm if you're lucky and hot is cold with no sign or even a message from the owner to state this.

The area was very unsafe, we experienced some very uncomfortable situations within 10 minutes of arriving. The property was run down and not pleasant, we didn't even stay for 1 night - we were extremely disappointed and left. We also had difficulties getting into the property, having been provided with the wrong code. Anyone considering booking here... my advice.... DONT!
