"Details to cleaning needs attention but would definitely choose to stay here again"

I love tiny properties. This had EVERYTHING you needed for a comfy stay. We only stayed 2 nights but could easily stay for a week.

The property, although small, was not spotlessly clean. We moved the sofa and found food, rubbish and a fruit shot bottle. I stored the towels under the sink unit and when I pulled it out it was covered in dust webs. Bugs that had been splat against the wall by previous people were still very evident around the place, and finally the outside of the bifolding doors was not clean of webs, bug nest etc ( I get it’s in the country but this looked like it hadn’t been dusted down for months ).

Ease of checking in. Comfy bed. Clean cabin. Great location, easy drive into Barnstaple and local beaches. Although other 2 cabins were in close proximity, the cabin felt private and not overlooked.

Nothing!

Location and accommodation

The information sent about getting access to the property. We weren't informed at any point exactly which of the three cabins were in and had no access code to gain entry.I had to ring the property manager to ask for them.

"Back to nature"

5.0

Location Nature Peaceful

Main door is very stiff to get into. 2 toilet rolls provided for 4 nights. No wood provided for the fire or information on how to buy any or where. No outdoor fire pit or individual seats The picnic bench was filthy so spent the entire time sat on the decking( I am chronically ill and awaiting surgery so getting up and down off of the cold decking was fun, I just needed to enjoy the peace so I didn't have a choice. Mould all around the bathroom wood. Hand soap with a really short cut tube so the soap was unusable unless you unscrew and pour which got messy. The radiator didn't heat the place even on max so we spent 3 days freezing until we managed to find wood supplies. Shower door doesn't stay closed. Shower rail broken and doesn't hold the shower handset up properly. Kettle leaks profusely everytime its boiled. No warnings near electric fences, to those who live with wild animals and nature it is probably common knowledge however for those who are un aware like my 63 year old friend who has lived in central London all of her life lost her balance and held onto the electric fence whilst visiting the horse. Although this sounds funny and it was at the time I'd suggest just a couple of warnings for those who arnt aware. To improve and for us to visit again the following would need to be addressed.
