Loft Cottage by Spa Town Property - 2 Bed Tudor Retreat Near to Stratford-upon-Avon, Warwick & Solihull

We liked the idea of staying in a traditional property, but that soon wore off. Location and a car parking space was good.

If you have dodgy knees or hips. This property is not for you. The old style key/lock had a mind of it’s own. Not good if there is a fire.

Spacious apartment, well equipped, clean and very comfortable. It is in a great location for pubs, restaurants and some lovely country walks from the door. Henley in Arden is a very pretty little town and has great amenities for a weekend stay.

It is on a High Street and is noisy in the mornings. This may not be obvious or even an issue for some people, but earplugs solved the issue for us. The upper bedroom is quite a way from the bathroom, with steep stairs, and therefore can be a challenge for those who need to use facilities during the night.

Modern feel in an old building. Good comfy furnishings, nice decor and good bedding. Deceptively spacious. Good having two bathrooms. Nice touch with toiletries in each. Good showers with a good flow. Nice pubs and eateries within walking distance. Well equipped kitchen, didnt notice anything missing that we needed whilst we were there. Designated parking a godsend. Location good for exploring the surrounding areas. Shops close by for self catering needs so no need to bring anything with you.

Entrance stairs and stairs to upper floor a little narrow but we managed after finding our feet and you cant really do anything about that as part of the character. Yes there was noise from outside mainly in the mornings but again location determines this. Would be a good idea to have some sort of lighting at the main entrance door to make it easier in the darker evenings. Did find that sometimes that the lock mechanism in the outer door took a few times to turn for it to unlock .

The location was great, right in the middle of the town.

Whilst it was a beautiful Tudor property, the beams and winding staircase were a little bit challenging!

The hosts were really responsive and flexible. The booking system and communications were all good. Loft Cottage is a really lovely place to stay, very clean and comfortable. It's easy to get to and well placed to visit Henley in Arden and take the train to Stratford upon Avon. Great place to stay with friends and well appointed to self cater or access the cafes, pubs and restaurants so close by. The bedrooms are spacious and beds really comfortable. Would definitely recommend.
