Cosy Lodge on Farm with Donkeys Parking

Beautiful lodge in a nice secluded location. Perfect for accessing Chester without being in the city. Great base for cycling

Lovely little house with everything you would need for a family stay

It was well supplied. The only thing I might have liked would have been a bread knife and a chopping board, but I wouldn't complain because the kitchen was very functional, and I was able to cook meals.

The lodge is very dirty and in need of a deep deep clean! The carpets are filthy and hadnt been hoovered, the skirting boards are covered in dirt and dust, the doors were dirty, the windows were filthy and covered in hand prints, net curtains were dirty and ripped, the kitchen equipment hadnt been cleaned, crumbs and dirt inside of the cupboards and drawers. Alot of cobwebs around the lodge, is in need of a proper refurbishment. The outside furniture was unusable on the sunniest weekend so far this year, covered in cobwebs, dirt and pollen. The grass around the lodge hadnt been cut, full of dandelions. The view was a open metal shed with an old bathroom suite, or a large old outdoor green box with the lid open. The visitors folder which was falling to bits advertised a bbq in a green box in the area to the side of the lodge with charcoal, this was one rusty grill shelf and no charcoal, and had old kids toys in it. Would I stay again (even for free) definitely not!

Good location, lovely animals nearby. Lodge was comfortable and had everything we needed. Plenty of towels.

Couple of lightbulbs not working, oven and pans need a clean

The property is advertised as pet friendly, I didn't stay because it's in the middle of a stables surrounded by muddy lawns and sodden grass but it carpeted in light carpet, so I would have ended up with a cleaning bill,even though I'm a good dog owner but it's just not practical

Great location close to Chester for shopping, lived the two bathrooms so we had our own space, lodge was well equipped with all utensils, plates etc even washing machine but we did not use.

Lovely Christmas break, very peaceful location and close the the centre of Chester. The lodge was lovely thank you
