Worlds Apart - River Front Guest Farm & Camping

Very relaxing atmosphere.. my children loved it..

The view was great. I did enjoy the small touches, like the coffee, and the complimentary firewood. Great wine farms in the area.

We were woken up by music from a party far away in the valley. I know there's not much they could've done about this, Its just an observation about the area. There was no hot water in our cabin, there was a problem with the gas water heater, they did make a plan so we could shower in another cabin. The mattress on the bed wasn't very comfy, & there was nowhere to wash the dishes. I found it strange that they had a double bed electric blanket but only one side was plugged in, if the plan was to get us closer in bed then it worked!

I really enjoyed the beautiful outdoor setting — taking peaceful walks in nature, relaxing next to the pool, and soaking up the sun. The lush green gardens surrounding the cottage were especially lovely and added to the overall tranquility. The cottage itself was equipped with all the basics needed for a comfortable stay. The staff were attentive and helpful — when I requested a broom, assistance arrived promptly, and the lady kindly went the extra mile by sweeping and even changing the bedding. I also appreciated the thoughtful touches, like providing a TV on request and having filter coffee available to start the mornings off right. Overall, it was a relaxing and pleasant stay.

There were a few aspects that affected our experience. On two mornings, the power went off repeatedly, which also disrupted the water supply — this was quite inconvenient. Our check-out was scheduled for 12:00, but we had to wait about two hours as the previous group checked out late. Additionally, I am still waiting for a tax invoice that I requested, but have not yet received.

It felt like it was under equipped (no cleaning up sponges, drying rack for dishes) and very few kitchenware necessities. Poor lighting in bathroom and kitchen.
