Water Front APT Walk to the Beach & City Centre

It was perfect for our needs. Excellent location, clean, comfortable, safe, easy check in. We’d be very happy to stay again.

We really liked the location. The apartment was spacious.

Following staying here for two nights, I read through many of the reviews. I wish I’d read them in detail before booking, as many of the problems raised have not been addressed and I found myself agreeing with some of the comments made about this stay. We received convoluted instructions for finding the key and parking. When you’re travelling from Australia and have a reasonable amount of luggage the last thing you need is having to park your car over the road from where you are staying, in a separate car park more than 100 metres from the apartment which involves a couple of trips to the car and back to get everything . Even when messaging with the host, I simply received repeated instructions which did not make information any clearer. This apartment has had serious water damage and no attempt to make necessary repairs to it. The apartment was a sub standards level of cleanliness, smelled mouldy, furniture was dirty, the floor of the bathroom had been recovered with an old linoleum over tiles, but wasn’t very clean. Kitchen utensils are inadequate for cooking any kind of meal. A bread knife and cleaning cloth would be useful. The handle on the inside of the bathroom door was loose, simply requiring screws to be tightened. We were worried one of us would end up stuck in there. The balcony floor looking out towards the marina was green with verdigris and clearly hasn’t been cleaned in a very long time. We washed everything we used in the kitchen, which wasn’t much, before using it. We ate out because there wasn’t enough equipment with which to cook satisfactorily. Very little attempt to clean or maintain this apartment. Such a shame given that it is in a great location.

For accommodation at the start of the holiday season it looked tired and needed some work done on it. Could also do with matching cutlery and a few more items like bread knife.

The location is absolutely stunning. The apartment is very spacious, simple and clean. View are lovely. Everything you need for a time away from home with children. My boys loved playing with some new toys. The apartment is really well equipped and beds are very comfortable. There is a huge fridge, freezer, dishwasher and washing machine with a tumble dryer. The owners are amazing and very helpful. We can't wait to come back there Highly recommend!!

Parking was close by. Apartment was well resourced, clean, great balcony review of harbour. Easy to contact owners.

Lovely homely apartment with plenty of room. Hugh bedrooms Very quiet Dish washer and washing machine

Not for the older people as chairs very low and very hard to get in and out of shower. Car parking was a nightmare so ended up paying £12 to park for three days. (This included Sunday)
