Location and cleanliness

Overall we were pleased with our stay. Host was very helpful (we got personal parking space, extra set of keys, help when needed in the apartment), instructions were clear. Apartment is spacious, has children toys, nice view to the Marina, very close to city centre and beach.

Apartment has some little things here and there which could have been fixed (balcony door is a bit difficult to open, fridge door needs attaching to outer door, etc,) My main issue was - there was a cat piss smell on the sofa and in one of the bedrooms, according to host it is not pet friendly property, so someone must have brought cat without their knowledge. It wasn't too strong and constant smell, but it did ruin my stay in this otherwise lovely apartment (I should say rest of my family didn't really notice it until I pointed out exact spots where the smell was coming from). I complained about it to the host, he apologized, but didn't really investigate where the smell come from, how strong it is, etc. It would have been nice if some extra cleaning/change of sofa covers or something similar was offered at the time.

The duvet provided was not suitable for summer , it was a 13.5 tog .

The location is great! Accessible to everything and there is a Coop at the bottom of the apartment for your groceries. Check-out process was made easier by the owner, a very nice touch.
