Location is great. Kitchen is well equipped. Staff was very helpful and responded fast.

Floors were sticky and dirty so I’d recommend wearing slippers. Also when I booked the place I did not see anywhere that they want a £200 security deposit. If I had known that beforehand I probably wouldn’t have booked the place since international bank transfers are a hassle.

When I arrived exactly at check-in time in order to avoid paying an extra £10, the owner was still in the process of cleaning and the room was therefore not ready. I had to leave and come back later to allow the cleaning to be finished. When I returned, the apartment had been cleaned, but the floor was still sticky. The owner offered to send a cleaner back to finish the job; however, as I had rented the apartment to work, this was unfortunately not possible for me. In addition, the Wi-Fi was not working, which forced me to use all of my mobile data throughout the entire stay. Given these inconveniences, a gesture of goodwill or a partial refund would have been appreciated.

Very difficult to locate

No lift, difficult to carry bags.

+ Apartment very well located in Watford, close to the main transport links to London and with lots of restaurants and shops nearby. + The flat is exactly as shown in the photos.

- The host assured me that I would receive the £200 deposit, but to date, despite several attempts to contact the host, I have not yet been refunded the deposit. - I agreed with the host to leave my luggage at the house until 12:00. I mistakenly assumed that he would only start cleaning after 12:00, so I left the house and left some things out of my suitcase to change clothes before leaving for good. The host, however, assumed that I would just leave my bags ready, which is perfectly understandable. What I cannot understand is why the host took the initiative to go through my personal belongings and stuff them into my bags without first calling me or sending me a message to clarify the situation or, at the very least, gather all my things in one corner so that I could tidy them up properly. I didn't like this attitude at all, and apparently for this company, guests' personal belongings are not sacred ground. - Completely deplorable behaviour from the host. Be very careful!

Good location

Absolutely nothing about this place feels even remotely luxurious. The first thing you see is a CCTV camera stuck to the door, which feels more hostile than welcoming. The apartment itself is extremely basic, and the hot water barely works—available only during the day, if you’re lucky. The mattresses were genuinely awful, with metal wires poking through, making it impossible to sleep comfortably. To make matters worse, the corridor reeked constantly because the neighbours pile their rubbish right outside their doors. Overall, an incredibly unpleasant stay

Excellent location for our trip to Harry Potter World. Easy access to the City with regular trains - good food options and shopping nearby. We stayed as a family of five, and slept comfortably, whilst everything we needed was available.

Nothing not to like really. Clean, accessible, well resourced and good location.
