MIA Residence - Entire Studio apartment - City View - London - Next to Ealing Broadway Station

Filthy!!! False advertising!!! No parking as promised had to wait for hours to be able to park my car , everything was disgusting . Nothing was cleaned . Half a mattress was completely gone unable to sleep. Cold , central heating wasn't working 13° in the room ..and the lady that got in contact with me was a proper NPC ! Wasn't even able to talk in English let alone to sort anything out.

Location and Parking - the location is next to Ealing Broadway tube station which for a lone young female travelling into london for work is perfect. I didn't get back to the apartment until around 10.30pm and getting off the tube station and walking through the night isn't the safest so having accommodation near to the station was important for me, I also liked that I was able to park my car directly outside the apartment. Clean and tidy - the hallway, outside area and most importantly the room was very clean and tidy, fresh towels, shower gel, shampoo and soap. It is a small studio apartment ... so it had a double bed, small desk with an office chair and tv, an arm chair, the kitchen and then a small bathroom - so it had everything I needed and I felt safe inside the apartment.

The owners communication was not great. I asked him about parking to begin with and he gave me a one word response of 'yes'. I asked a couple of questions through booking.com messaging if I could check in early and also what the checkin process was - he ignored these messages. So I found his mobile and messaged him - he answered my tesxt message about the checkin process by telling me the details will be sent around 2.30pm (check-in was 3pm). He again ignored my message about checking in early (1pm). I find this rude, he should have replied and said 'no I am afraid not', a little customer service goes a long way! The reason I needed to know what the process was is because being a lone traveller on your own in an area which is new, you need to know/ let loved ones know what the deal is and whether this apartment is legit!... so better and friendlier communication would have been helpful in my situation. He did message all details around 2.40pm and I was able to park and get into the apartment. I also don't like the fact that it advertises CLEARLY all over the advert and on booking.com that it comes with breakfast. It does not come with breakfast - this is false advertising, and should be taken off the details. The owner provided a box of cappuccino sachets - thank goodness for the caffeine... but not sure this classes as breakfast.

There was 3-ply toilet paper

The building's front door did not lock, so I question the overall security. The place is in desperate need of a paint job. The mattress needs to be replaced. TV and Wi-Fi didn't work, there were faulty power outlets and it is poorly kitted out. It is billed as "city view" - certainly not - the only view from the single (small) window is of the neighbours wall. I am so bored of being ripped off by greedy home owners who are charging exorbitant prices for sub-standard properties.

Dirty. Bathroom smelt of sewage. Owner is rude, unkind and unhelpful. Property is NOT nxt to Ealing Broadway Station at all. Lots of steep narrow stairs to get up. Parking is narrow and you get blocked in by the restaurant owner next door. Kitchen has no pots, pans, cutlery or washing up liquid! Glasses were dirty. Open packets of food in the cupboard. Bed had more springs poking out than i have bones in my body! And my mobile that I use sparingly is missing. I contacted the owner and he asked me what day it is today as it's Sunday and I left of Friday 😡. They are rude and dont deserve to have people stay at their property.

Mouldy smelling bathroom, wasn’t cleaned at all, hair and pubes all over the bathroom floor. Bedsheets hasn’t been changed, covered in hair a stains so slept on towels, blind was like tracing paper, so the room was bright and let in so much light.

Nothing to report as a like.. as owner cancelled my booking 10pm the night before we were due to arrive. After a lot of chasing and being ignored and brushed off I contacted Booking.com via Facebook I finally got my refund but the owner told Booking.com I was a no-show so a blatant liar as well as trying to be a thief!

Nothing, we didn’t see it! Turned up and phoned the number he said our property is not available and sent us a random postcode 2 miles away. We felt unsafe in the area he sent us to. He was so rude on the phone and we had to demand a refund.

The whole thing is a scam. Do not book we had to book another hotel leaving us out of pocket until the refund arrives. We will be making a formal complain with booking. Com
