- No slippers/ dressing gowns provided as listed. - No breakfast provided, as listed. - Broken TV -No dustbin in kitchen area - No lightbulb in lamp - Can feel the hard springs in the bed, very uncomfortable. - Using plug in heaters which use the few plugs in the room. - Entrance is very difficult to locate. -No tea/ coffee/ sugar/ milk provided as listed, not even 1 teabag to make tea. -Late/ unprofessional response to texts -No bathroom mat -Towel radiator in bathroom does not work - Shower not working well, only lukewarm.

Location and convenience to the trains.

The premises have several breaches in the fire safety laws. Firstly the fire alarm panel was in fault the entire week of my visit despite texting the owners and them stating a technician will be out next day. Entry to the property is via a non lit side door that had a normal handle/key as well as a digilock but once inside found the digilock did not work/lick the door. Again texting the owners on this they said they knew but they locked the door after midnight each night. I did not check this but if true this completely against fire safety laws. In a fire, resident’s would not be able to exit the building. There are no fire safety signs and the emergency lights are totally inadequate plus there is no light outside the front door for security and no external emergency light. As most fires break out in electrics having these just inside the front door would mean that these would immediately block the means of escape. The room was advertised as breakfast included but there was none. Falsely advertised? Thick dust on the top of the wardrobe. Leaking shower at the beginning of the week which was fixed but whoever did this left a mess behind and used one the towels. The shower was also luke warm to cold everyday. No. Central heating and the used of oil column heaters which are a massive fire risk. The bed was highly uncomfortable and when I lifted the mattress found several lengths of skirting board screwed to the base! All in all given the fire safety risks alone, I would not recommend this property let alone the other issues. If it was not for the fact I had paid upfront, probably would not get my money back and I could not get immediate alternative accommodation I would have checked out that first night.

Very rude host when called to complain about poor quality of mattress was told no ots fine then eventually changed my room and same issue again. Very poor beds and rude staff

This is a converted residential building, with four apartments in it. The location is good, though a bit noisy. The apartments are ok in size and have been refurbished.

There are several issues with the listing. The place should have been 85 m2 according to the listing, but it was about 1/3 of it (though still reasonable). Bigger problem that breakfast was included, except that it was never delivered. There is no staff on site, so I tried to text the owner, call the owner and write them an e-mail. No answer to any of those since then (about 5 days). I called Booking Customer Service - they could not reach the owner either. Other issue was that the place was cold, the radiators barely luke warm and the room temperature was not adjustable. I assume it is a nice energy saving feature from the owner. Shame on them!! Tip: there is an oven, which can heat up the place nicely. (and it costs the owner more than letting the guest have a proper use of the installed heat-pumps :) ) Too bad that I figured that only in the morning after a cold night.
