Everything. No shower, the shower head had been disconnected. No hot water, the boiler was displaying a fault. Issues of safety and security as the front door was never locked

Literally, the only thing good was the area I was staying in.

It started with arriving. A lady was waiting for me at the front door and she asked if I had my incheck codes, I did not receive them from my host. I was promised an appartement with a city view, but didn't get that. When I entered the appartement I went to look around. It was small, but looked good overall. I wanted to watch some TV, but I couldn't get it to work, so I settled for watching a movie on my phone. After I came back from walking around and having dinner, I wanted to take my shoes off and went to look for the slippers that were promised to me (I hate walking barefoot) but they were not to be found. The bathrobe that was promised in the description also wasn't there. I sent my host some messages about the TV remote not working, where my slippers were, why I didn't receive any kitchen towels and when my breakfast would arrive. The only response I got were very blunt, short messages which didn't help me any further. When I went to bed, I layed down on the matress and could literally feel the springs in my back, I did not have a good rest that night. The next morning, when I awoke, I felt horrible. The host hadn't responded to any of my new messages and I felt really uncomfortable there. I contacted Booking.com if I could get a refund and they helped me in the best way they could. They sent a refunding claim to the host (explaining my story, because the residence was unrefundable) but the host declined because, I quote. "She is not emotionally normal. Pls ignore her request." I was shocked beyond believe! Who calls their guest "not emotionally normal" it made me really upset.. When I had already been awake for almost 2 hours, I heard some shuffling outside my door, my 'breakfast' had been delivered. A bag from Tesco with apples, bananas, brioche, doughnuts, some quaker oatmeal and instant coffee. After all the distress, I had made up my mind and immediately packed my bags and left.

It was dirty bed was lumpy shower didn’t work properly not worth the money only stayed 1 night because it was not suitable to stay another night
