Villa del Arco Beach Resort & Spa

Our stay was great. Location is just 30 min walk from the marina. The hotel has plenty of places to sit and enjoy the view, also there are many pools for different age groups. Food was excelent!!! Recommend purchasing full package, because paying per meal and drinks is very expensive.

At 7 am all the chairs at the front are 'reserved ' with towels placed on the chairs but nobody sits there for several hours.

The water in my room would never get warm and the last day the water didn’t work at all in the sink or shower!

The employees were very friendly and helpful. The room was very nice and updated. The whole property was well maintained and very nice. The views of Lands End were amazing when cruise ships weren't in the way.

We did the all-inclusive. The food was good but everything was VERY expensive. The drinks were very weak and overpriced so were thankful we went the all- inclusive route,however keep in mind they automatically charge a 7% gratuity on everything which adds up when they are bringing overpriced beverages. There is a little convenience store on property but VERY expensive as well. We bought 4 Red Bulls, 2 Piedialites, a tiny trinket and Aloe and it was $74 US. Even eating downtown we paid $150 for 4 of us to eat breakfast. Also, I would ask about construction. The unit directly below us was under construction the whole time. They didn't start until 8:30am each day but it was all day long. If you wanted to rest in your room or had a baby that needed a nap, it wouldn't be possible. The noise was excessive. No one told us when we checked in. When we asked to move they said they were full.

When got there, the gentleman who helped me was great, allowed us to check in early and offered to upgrade the room with a nice view and close to the jacuzzi and pool. The problem was right outside our patio area they were working on a pipe and the water was turned off without notifying us. Also, the sheets and bedding were not clean, and the dryer did not work. We kept calling to fix it but nothing. Finally had to hang dry our clothes.
