Fab - Bamboo Hut with Open Shower

Our stay at the FAB Bamboo Hut was simply fantastic. A unique experience. Surrounded by greenery in the middle of the jungle and then the shower in the open air, it couldn't have been more beautiful in this area. Anurag, the host, and his mother Riji were super friendly and always helpful, attentive and open to any request. The food that Riji conjured up was super tasty every time, nothing that didn't taste good 🙏 If we ever need accommodation near Munnar again, we would definitely go back to the family. Nothing, all good.

Good looking hut with a beautiful nature view, with the constant sounds of nature around you (birds, water, etc). The owner clearly put a lot of attention into the place, and he was very friendly. The food made by the owner’s mom was great!

Bed sheets could have been better ( a blanket wat provided but no separate sheets to sleep under). As you’re in nature, some bugs here and there are unavoidable. It would be good if a mosquito net was provided (we had our own).

Very Veri nice place but a little bit fare

The place was quiet and the bamboo hut (placed in the lap of nature), with all the facilities. There was beautiful view of the forest and a small water stream (not active during the season we visited). The open shower was a real experience. The hosts, especially Mr Anurag were always available to make us comfortable and arrange anything we needed. They treated us like their family members with tasty homemade food. All the local travel and beyond was arranged by Mr Anurag. We stayed there 2 nights and it was a lifetime experience and we would like to go there again.

Anu and family were perfect hosts, helpful, welcoming. Delicious breakfast and food for dinner prepared for us. The treehouse is wonderful. Arranged a great day of sightseeing with local tuktuk driver Ajhit who was a superb tour guide.

Amazing accommodation if you like some peace and quiet at a bit more distance from Munnar itself. The outdoor shower is fantastic. Anurag and the family took great care of us, with preparing lovely food and arringing a tour in the surrounding hills. I wish we had more time at the bamboo hut!
