Light House View Inn - Galle Fort

One of the most important thing is the location. The hotel is inside the old town, in one of the most liveliest streets, with some cafes/restaurants and a lot of souvenirs., superb service i definitely recommend light house view inn

I had a very peaceful and calm stay at Light House View Inn and it went well as i expected. Easy access to fort and was able to walk around anywhere at any time. Owners were very nice towards us and friendly too, they were flexible with our requirements. Great value for money 😊.

Really appreciate the service provided. We were group of three people and we manage to rest well without any disturbances. It has all facilities such as kitchen, tea coffee, filtered water and indoor and outdoor seating areas. The host is so polite.

This place is clean and well maintained. This is our first stay in here. The customer service is Very good and friendly. No complaints and no bad experiences at all. Highly recommended you can have a good stay which worth the price.

Good location

The lady running the hotel was not very friendly and would not let us pay by card. She would only take cash and did not want to give us a receipt. She said she had been running it for 15 years despite many responses to reviews online claiming management has changed! Towels and bed sheets were poor quality. The parking was 20 metres up the road and just at the edge of the street, not actual hotel parking as advertised. Regarding your reponse, I have no idea what you are on about. We stayed for one night and asked for a receipt for one night. We were tourists and your customer service is well below what we experienced throughout the rest of the country. Unfortuntely your response just adds to the lies that have are prevalent throughout your Google reviews.

The guesthouse was clean and really lovely. The host was very helpful and friendly. A great location and right in the centre of the fort. The breakfast was really tasty. Thank you for having us and the airconditioned worked upto my expectation and this is the best place i stayed so far

The location cannot be beaten. Literally a few yards away from the lighthouse. Perfectly situated for exploring the old fort, walking the ramparts and watching the people promenade from the terrace. Good shops, cafes and restaurants just around the corner. Fantastic views. Room was simply and tastefully furnished. Bed was very comfortable.

Nothing really

Amazing location in Galle Fort. One of the quirkiest places we have stayed and our family really enjoyed it. Walking distance to everywhere . Kids loved the loft in the main room.
