Light House View Inn - Galle Fort

it was a great 31st December stay in light house inn we really enjoyed the fireworks the welcome drink was amazing where we were starving after a 8 hour travelling and the stay was very nice host were very energetic where they helped us in every way the real advantage was the location where we could relax in the balcony and see the nice fireworks

the parking was there but its little bit harder to take place as its fully busy and the 31st night party was there where it got little noisy

The location is a miracle the birds sound in the morning when you wakeup and as soon as you got up you will be welcomed by the sunrise and the amazing thing is the sceneries you could enjoy while relaxing in the balcony, The overall experience was good the bed was comfy and facilities was good i would recommend to anyone

The December season and the christmas makes the roads full of cars and local people and some locals who comes to visit should maintain the parkings and crowd

I recently stayed at a property in Galle Fort, and it was absolutely perfect! The location couldn’t be better—right in front of the lighthouse and the beach, offering stunning views. The balcony overlooking the beach was the highlight; it was so relaxing to sit there and take in the serene surroundings. The light from the charming streets added a magical touch to the evenings. The accommodation itself was spotless, with clean and comfortable beds and well-maintained washrooms. Getting the keys from the hosts was super easy, and they were incredibly helpful throughout my stay. They even arranged airport pickups and drops, as well as scooty rentals, making it so convenient to explore the area. Every detail seemed thoughtfully considered, making the stay incredibly comfortable.

the streets could be little crowded on weekends

You enter here as a family member and a good friend. Excellent welcome and conversations with the host with a real cultural exchange. Very helpful and kind and supportive A real and rare family hotel perfectly situated in the old town. As a Indian I also enjoyed the very tasty juice in the downstairs cafe👌🏻 The Air conditioner was very nice as we got the advantage of washroom hot water shower where we had amazing facilities The location is unbeatable if i call the best location in Galle fort its correct I had a great time in light house view inn, recommend to all

it was a great stay in light house view inn, the location was top notch cant ask for better the sunset and evening views was very nice, the host are very attentive towards our needs specially althaf will be there if you need anything at anytime. The facilities was very good with equipped kitchen with a gas stove to cook if you want and a bigger living room where you can have nice relaxation, The wonderful peace of mind is private entrance as we get the keys to property its like our own home where we can do what ever we want The air conditioner and hot water was working good so we got very comfortable in our stay i will highly recommend this place to everyone where you would spend less and experience a high rated facilities

The hosts were incredibly helpful and friendly, making sure we felt welcomed and had everything we needed throughout our stay. The location is perfect—there are plenty of wonderful restaurants and cafes nearby to explore, and the beach is just a 5-minute walk away. Plus, there are so many amazing places to visit in the area, making it an ideal spot for both relaxation and exploration. It was the perfect blend of convenience, charm, and comfort. I couldn’t have asked for a better experience—everything was simply perfect. Highly recommended for anyone visiting the area!

The hosts made us very welcome right from the start - you couldn’t wish for nicer hosts! she drove us to station and helped us in mobile phone shop. The location is just absolutely ideal - right in the heart of the Fort, but not noisy at all. We had a two beds room villa privacy and space, plenty of space, good air conditioner, hot shower - and loads of character! Exceptionally good value. Room was very big, mattresses was like heaven - but that all adds a unforgettable relaxing stay, and we absolutely loved it (and the hosts). The location was the other best thing i got it was very nice and relaxing calming, the host gave us another free ride to bus station, every small detail they did to please our stay was more and more memorable and unforgettable i would definitely recommend to everyone who would like to have a unforgettable experience on a budget price This is the best place i had stay so far in Galle fort with private entrance you get a key so you could go any where anytime as you get the the keys to entrance door so you can just open the main entrance door by us even in 4am The other major thing is host friendliness so they don't care much about money they mostly cared about our satisfaction it added the essence that make rich our stay to a unforgettable and very much memorable one

one of the best stay i ever had stayed in Sri Lanka as it had everything i was expecting on two bedroom house the 2 rooms and huge living room with kitchen, The main thing is view you get in the morning it was so relaxing and calming The host greeted us with a so much hospitality and she were very cared about our needs and did our laundry for a very reasonable price within 2 hours i would recommend this place to everyone as this is the best location you would ever get in Galle Fort with amazing friendly hospitality and great place where you could be happy for the every penny you pay
