Light House View Inn - Galle Fort

We loved the location of the property!

This lovable place, situated in the center of Galle fort, offered a super kind host and s charming room with balcony view of the street life. Wi-Fi was good and bed comfortable. Luxurious bathroom and the villa was really nice configured i did really enjoyed my stay and the host was very kind to arrange a tour to Sigiriya for an amazing price it was an amazing stay where the every penny was worth as it was the seasonal time where every place was booked and super expensive

There was an power outage for an one hour to the whole island so it was little concerned but i think it was a government problem

Location.

This property is not worth more than 30 USD. My contract with booking.com was for a two-bedroom apartment, but the host did not agree. The host asked for money as we came to the property. The host did not want to take payment by Card they did not have the facility and wanted 3% over and above the room rent if insisted on card payment. The host wanted USD cash. The staircase was very steep and we were expected to carry our luggage. It was not carpeted nor tiled just plain cement floor.

This hotel is in an ideal location to walk all over Galle and only minutes from the lighthouse. The villa is nicely decorated and a decent size and the king sized bed was very comfortable. The bathroom had great hot water and a large vanity which is nice while travelling. The owner was very friendly and they even gave me free breakfast which was very nice

The galle fort was very busy due to srilanka vs australia match and galle literary festival so galle area was little congested but it was not a big deal

Location was great ! Beach on door step and lighthouse just out side the balcony.

Some steep steps for elderly.

Wonderful stay at light house view inn very friendly staff and they were very happy and very welcoming even we checked inn at 1 am in the morning even with a welcome drink and everything we wanted i would definietly return here

The traffic is little high as this are busy days i understand this but its a small concern

Central location within easy walking distance of all the shops, restaurants etc. within the Galle Fort. The lighthouse is right in front of the unit and it was nice to have the entire unit to ourselves. Clean and comfortable set up.

The owner coming upstairs early morning the next morning, for no apparent reason. Privacy is expected when the entire unit is for the guest's use. Such visits should only be in case of an emergency or at the request of the guest, once the initial walk through is completed.

Excellent location and views. Friendly and welcoming host. Would stay again!

it was a nice stay in light house view inn we enjoyed a lot there on the 1 days of January and year we were lucky to have a good property and nice friendly host we actually enjoyed the beach and the added advantage was it is a beach front property and the rooms were quite big with a equipped kitchen and very peaceful balcony, the facilities were above expectation as we got the free toiletries, gas cooker water bottles milk packets tea bags a lot thanks a lot for amazing experience

it will be much nice if they add breakfast option too and it was little crowd and noisy as it was new year holidays and the beach was little bit crowded
