Les plantes vertes c’est bien, mais point trop n’en faut ! La surabondance rend l’atmosphère subjectivement étouffante. C’est dommage, car la chambre des parents était très belle, la salle de bain d’un luxe un peu superflu, mais tout cela baignait dans une odeur peu agréable en raison de l’humidité.

COMMUNICATION. Once I had booked I received an email to say there would be further details the day before arrival. I emailed back saying I was away in Spalding I did not have a smart phone but could text me on my old mobile phone. I never received a text if it was not for the friend I was visiting in Wisbech that was able to phone for details on how to enter the property I would never been able to access my room. Sorry there are some of us that are not up-to-date with technology

Smart Tv not so smart wouldn’t register ‘new handset’ which was demanded by TV Digital bedroom lock hit & miss to function Very creaky bathroom door hinges & bedroom floorboards Bathroom vent stays on for 30mins once light switched off

There is a common area with nice kitchen and fridge that we were able to use

The wifi for the tv was very bad do couldn't watch any tv

Warm comfortable room on a freezing day. Lovely bathroom with underfloor heating

Parking instructions not very clear I drove into a private driveway Bathroom window needed a blind as although frosted there were slight gaps. Ceiling window needs blind

The shared communal areas and facilities were amazing, there was microwave, oven, fridge freezer, dishwasher, ovens amd large hob. There was a dining table for 8, just needee to move some plants. plus island for 4 and shared couch area, no tv. There were saucepans and although not enough plates, we asked and staff called Gil who brought new ones! Bedrooms as described and nice, King had big sofa and telly and shower with jets didn't risk the big bath as air was cold. King had electric oil heater rest had central heating.

No staff on site, but Gil was very good answering the phone number provided. Our room key locked on the inside and didn't work in the morning of second night had to ring the owner to reset it. Towels need replacing, bed slightly saggy, no soap so bring your own, but liked the matttess. Shared communal area amazing. Kitchen has limited basics was missing like DW tablets and salt. Limited cutlery, msy need to rewash n use. So if cooking is your plan, bring some extta cloths, basics like salt n sugar, and DW tablets. Cleaner was fine with putting it on tje next day. Parking is available but can b a bit tight so tuck in. Kettle, cups tea coffee n sugar in rooms. Hard to find, it's behind the farmhouse on the road. They need a sign! Put in the name of the Old Apple orchard barn or whatever and waze can find it. Too many plants for most people, but we liked it.

Hot water pressure wasn't satisfactory at all within the bath and then the hot water in the shower after trying to run the bath was stone cold......poor boiler not adequate for size of bath. No cupboards to hang fresh pressed clothes and no mirror in the luxury suite

I’ve stayed a few times and it is certainly a lovely place !
