The Garden Square - Unique luxury apartment in historic garden square - ideal for 2 people

Very quiet neighborhood. Very clean. Comfortable bed. Well decorated, but not overly done. Lots of nice extras - milk, OJ, fresh bread, jellies, butter, granola, yogurt, cold water, wash cloths, fresh flowers, etc. Very accommodating hosts. The pictures are accurate.

Everything! This is a beautiful, well supplied apartment with wonderful hosts. We arrived early and were able to check in ahead of schedule. Communication was clear, the accommodation comfortable, clean and thoughtful. Well located. Definitely recommend and will stay again for a longer visit.

The accommodation oozed quality! Crockery, bedding, bathroom suite, toiletries the list goes on and on! The little touches such as fresh milk and juice, a biscuit tin, umbrellas it was fantastic! The host was also very communicative and extremely helpful.

Great location, so close to town. Beautifully appointed property with a great shower, cosy lounge and great TV. I also loved the small but functional kitchen too which looked like it was a cupboard until you opened the doors.

It's very hard to criticise, to be honest. I am very used to a Superking bed so a standard double feels very small to me nowadays. I also would have preferred softer lamplight in the bedroom to read by but as I say these are very small points.

The host left fresh bread, a good variety of jams, honey, porridge oats, granola, yoghurts, milk and juice - this was an excellent added bonus. The host had gone above and beyond and had thought of everything. The apartment was very spacious and enough space for a family of 4. Parking is an added bonus. Good base for exploring York, the accommodation was about 25 minute walk to York Minster. Highly recommend the property.
