592 Apartments 12 Duncan Street Campbellville, Georgetown

Well equipped apartment. It was my family’s first time in Guyana. Coming from abroad, we needed for our boarding: A/C, elevator, wifi and we had it here. 592 was very accommodating.

The property was clean and in a great location. The staff was fantastic and did the best that they could to accommodate us within their limits.

The television in our room did not work for the five nights we were there. No one came to fix it or replace it so we were without a TV. There was also no hot water on property. When my wife asked, they said that it was solar powered, but there was no hot water during the day either. It’s an Airbnb type property. No daily housekeeping, etc..

Walking distance from many attractions, business hubs, absolutely clean, spacious and comfortable rooms. All staff members on different shifts were eager to help and lend any assistance they could. As a female solo traveler I was most impressed with their security system when it came to entry to the building and by extension your particular floor. A great stay all together.

The first complaint was that the water was brown. Second complaint is when you ask for linen’s expect it the following week. Third if you run out of bathroom tissues on the weekend you’re in trouble because there is no staff on the weekend. Fourth, I am not sure how cleaning works because no one came to clean the apartment, we were doing it ourselves.

The staff was friendly and the building was clean. The location was convenient to food shopping.
