"Lovely, quirky house, perfect for our weekend stay."

Fantastic location, some lovely eating places and takeaways all within a short walk. Good, free car park just around the corner. Great communication from the host. A lovely, clean and comfortable house. Perfect as a base for the Marie Curie Hadrian’s Wall walk and for my dad and my youngest son to explore the town!

Not a criticism in the slightest but could do with more cutlery and some pint glasses for the beer drinkers!

Much appreciated the tea and coffee tray upon arrival. Loved the furnishings and layout, and the washing machine.

I found the front bedroom bed a little soft and dippy in the middle. Some hooks for coats inside the front door would be super useful.

"Wonderful place to stay with family"

The decor of the house was so lovely and lots of thought had gone into making sure there was everything there that would be needed - hairdryer, fans, towels, handwash, games to play, iron and kitchen cleaning equipment. Everywhere was really clean. The beds were so comfortable and the bedside tables, lamps, plug sockets so convenient. We really couldn't fault the lovely house, it was perfect for us. The town of Brampton is so lovely too and the free parking was close by and easy to find. The location of the house is great for exploring, we visited Talkin Tarn (6mins away) Hadrian's Wall (6 mins) and Pooley Bridge (Ullswater lake), was just a 40 min drive away. Would definitely recommend the Duke of Cumberland in Castle Carrock (9 mins away) for a meal and Pooley Bridge Inn for a Sunday dinner.
