Its location was perfect. The actual accommodation was stunning. Very clean, comfortable and everything you needed. Everything looks new. Communication with the owner was great. She was helpful and lovely to deal with.

If I had to really think about it, the facility of two bathrooms would be great. But, this would definitely not stop me from booking hete again

It was cold and the temperature couldn't be increased in the bedroom and lounge.

There is no doubt that the furnishings and quality of the accommodation has been well considered and reflects something you'd experience in a four or five star hotel - with more amenities. You get secure parking, and you're within 10 minutes walk of everything you'd want to do in York which means you get to experience more of the city. The apartment was spotless, and has clearly been very well maintained.

The shower was not fit for purpose and leaked water onto the bathroom floor when you were using it for more than a few minutes, this detracted from the stay and given there is just one bathroom, meant other family members needed to deal with a wet floor. There is a HVAC unit outside the main bedroom window and has a low tone humming noise throughout the night, not an issue if you're used to some white noise at night, but certainly would impact someones sleep (as it did mine). No basic(s) left like milk, or water. I often find serviced apartments leave a small welcome box upon arrival, not the case here.

Pretty much everything, impeccable design, furnishings and fittings, perfect location, good parking.

The noise from the air conditioning fans which appeared to be for the whole block directly outside the property. Constantly whirring day and night, so not relaxing in the day and very difficult to sleep at night.

Secure parking. Close to city centre. Comfortable.

Noisy aircon units from adjoining hotel right outside bedroom window. Noise throughout the night. Window cleaner banging windows at 07.15 in the morning.

Bottom door didn’t lock.

Clean, modern, close to the city centre. Every appliance if you needed them. Excellent.

At night I could hear the fans outside the bedroom window.

-Location was great - not far from the city centre and also perfect for the train station too. -Free car parking was a bonus. -Living room area and beds were comfortable. Plenty of space for a family of 4.

-Cleanliness of kitchen equipment was disappointing. We had to run the cutlery through the dishwasher before using. -Although we knew this prior to booking, a 10am check-out time seemed rather early.
