蔕 Heta Nozawa Onsen

Heta Nozawa Onsen was beautiful apartment. The most comfortable beds, great kitchen and bathroom. Walking distance to ski slopes, bus stop to the train station ( shuttle very frequent ) and up the hill from all the great restaurants. The hot pool and sauna were an added bonus. This was our favorite place of our whole trip. The staff went over and beyond to explain everything.

We didn't stay longer

Staff were great, the little bar under the hotel was fab. Location in the village was good too. Private time in the hot pool and sauna was nice. Shower was very small but good. Room was unique, with a record player and choice of vinyl!

The bed was tiny and squashed into a little corner - we both had to crawl off the end of the bed to get out. There were no curtains in the room which made sleeping beyond 5am impossible!

Good location close enough to centre but far enough to be quiet. Clean modern minimal rooms. Hot bath and saunas were cool.

No curtains/blind in my room meant I was awake too early!

The Onsen and sauna is great, the staff is wonderful and the bar and cocktails are lovely . The location is perfect, close to the ski lifts as well as town.

The hotel was stylishly decorated and the location was convenient both to the Kyoto Station but also to many of the tourist destinations.

The restaurant was very expensive. We ate at other restaurants in Kyoto where the food was as good if not better for half the price.

The onsen (although not a real onsen) was wonderful and it was great that you could reserve it for private use. There was a very strong, cold draft at the doorway though which made it difficult to get dressed as the locker / dry area is in that part. The location was also great as it is very close to Nagasaka gondola.

The room layout was not good. The sleeping area was so tight, we were practically inside a box with walls on all 4 sides of the small bed. The room was also freezing as there were no curtains to keep the cold out besides the fact that the sun would shine straight into our faces in the morning. It didn't help that we paid about $400 per night, not good value for money. On the other hand, the bathroom and sink were nice, modern and clean.
