Comfortable and cosy. Quiet location and easy walk to town, bus nearby if needed. Well equipped with essentials plus extra supplies. Friendly and responsive hosts. Recommend Cafe no 3 Heworth!

Fantastic stay, the hosts really did think of everything to make our stay so delightful. The property was beautifully furnished throughout, very cosy and comfortable. The location is fantastic with easy access to the city centre. I highly recommend.

"It’s a fantastic accommodation"

We had a wonderful holiday here — the accommodation was clean, comfortable, and cosy, with every facility we could possibly need. The location was convenient yet peaceful. We’re already thinking about planning another trip to York, and we’ll definitely stay here again. Highly recommended!

The cottage has a really comfortable feel. Very well appointed with everything we needed.The location is a comfortable walk to the old town, restaurants and supermarket are minutes away.

The Hideaway was well-appointed and very comfortable. Wonderful hospitality from the owners. We were made to feel very welcome.

I'd have preferred the bathroom to have been upstairs rather than beyond the kitchen.

Lovely well equipped kitchen - probably the most well equipped accommodation I've ever stayed in! We had everything we could possibly need. The additional treats dotted about in the kitchen were very well received and enjoyed. The house is in a lovely quiet neighborhood 20-25 minutes walk from the city centre, with shops and pubs even closer. It was exceptionally clean and welcoming.

My only gripe would be the double bed on the bottom bunk has a large gap between the edge of the mattress and the wall that my husband kept falling into overnight as the mattress sloped slightly on each side but that is a very small issue rectified with some pillows!

"Heerlijk."

Fantastische service, goede communicatie, erg schoon huisje. Onze kinderen moesten even wennen aan dat het wat klein was, maar op een paar minuten lopen ligt een parkje met speeltuin, dat was fijn. York centrum is prachtig en dat is zo'n 20 minuten lopen. Als je de stadsmuur opgaat is een deel ervan ook nog eens heel mooi en kom je in het prachtige centrum uit.
